Located in the Kilim area and only 10 minutes drive from Kuah Town, Langkawi Wildlife Park covers an area of 5.5 acres of land. Inside, the park creates an atmosphere of tropical rainforest. It was opened to the public in November 2002 when it was known as ‘Langkawi Bird Paradise.’ You will now find over 150 different species of animals and birds from different parts of the world including Southeast Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, Russia and of course from Malaysia. However, do not expect to find large exotic species such as tigers or leopards here. The Wildlife Park Langkawi mostly save species that are not difficult to maintain. But you will find many funny and unusual things here.
