Located 25km away south of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya is the federal administrative center of Malaysia. The planned city is the idea Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia. It is also the third Federal Territory of Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Federal Territory of Labuan is also) in 2001 and named after the first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra.
Described as the best-kept secret in the Klang Valley, Putrajaya, unnoticed by most, a city with many interesting places to visit, and many have views to the outside. It also has luxury hotels, such as the Putrajaya Shangri-La. For those who enjoy shopping, mall Alamanda Putrajaya provides compelling brands to choose from, a variety of restaurants, movie theaters to catch the latest blockbuster and more. 1. Putrajaya Mosque

Pink Putra Mosque dome built with red granite and can accommodate 15,000 worshipers at a time. Basement walls of the mosque resemble the King Hassan Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. The mosque consists of three major functional areas – the prayer hall, Sahn or patio, and a variety of learning facilities and function rooms. The prayer hall is simple and elegant, supported by 12 columns. The highest point under the dome 250 feet above ground level. The Sahn, landscaped with several water features and decorative borders on the colonnade, providing prayer space friendly and beautiful large. This impressive tower design was influenced by Sheikh Omar Mosque in Baghdad. At 116m, it is one of the tallest towers in the region and has five levels, which represent the Five Pillars of Islam. That non-Muslims are allowed to enter at a particular time.
2. Putrajaya Bridge

The upper level of the bridge is a neighborhood boulevard-like, well-paved roads are ideal for jogging and taking a walk slowly around. Views are overlooking the beautiful lake sunset. There are many couples will take their wedding photos around the interesting sights. Lower deck serves as a transport route for both vehicles and monorail. Many fine dining restaurants and cafes benefit of the lake view around the pillars of the bridge. The human-made lake also offers the boating and kayaking around the lake for visitors and tourists. There are many resorts and restaurants around to provide for a short holiday. Spa and swimming pools are among the attractions for most resorts around here like Shangri-la Spa and Resort. Nearby attractions include Heritage Park Agriculture and Putra Mosque.

Federal Government administrative hub of the country, it is about 25km away from KL and reach a distance of 4932 hectares. 5. Seri Wawasan Bridge , Putrajaya

The Seri Wawasan Bridge is one of the main bridges in the planned city of Putrajaya, (2001) Federal Territory of Malaysia’s new administrative center. This futuristic asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge with mast forward-tended appearance sailing ship, accent lighting at night with the light color. The bridge, also known as Bridge No. 9, crossed the Putrajaya Lake, an artificial lake created to provide natural cooling and connects Precinct 2 on the Core Island, where the main government buildings are located, to the residential area in Precinct 8, 9.
6. Perdana Putra

Perdana Putra is a building in Putrajaya, Malaysia which houses the Prime Minister’s office complex. Located on the main hill in Putrajaya, it has become synonymous with the executive branch of the federal government of Malaysia. The building may be illustrated from outside the fence for fear of interfering with the other ministers.
7. Putrajaya Botanical Garden

Tropical regions near the equator stretching from Asia Pacific to Africa and South America receive plenty of sunshine and rainfall during the year. 8. Seri Perdana

The Seri Perdana Complex is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, which is also used to welcome the head of state, heads of government, foreign dignitaries, and the public. By the principle that Seri Perdana “owned” certain parts of the compound, namely Block and Block Banquet Protocol, is open to the public. Located at Persiaran Seri Perdana, Precinct 10, Putrajaya, this complex is a symbol of Malay combined, architectural heritage, landscape and design of Islam and Europe. There are many facilities there to visit.
9. Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa Putrajaya (PICC)

Putrajaya International Convention Centre is the main convention center in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The building is located at the top of Taman Puncak Selatan in Precinct 5. The place is always visited by many people because there are significant events.
10. Millennium Monument

Millennium Monument is a national monument in Putrajaya, Malaysia similar to the Washington Monument in Washington DC, USA. It is the second national monument to be built in Putrajaya after Putrajaya Landmark. A lot of changes in Putrajaya after many different buildings constructed.
